Pulled Pork in a Pressure Cooker

This recipe for pulled pork can be made in a pressure cooker or an Instant Pot. This is a simple recipe that will make a very flavorful dish. You will need soy sauce, garlic, and brown sugar for this recipe. You don't need to heat your kitchen to make a delicious pulled pork recipe. You can add in optional chilies if you like a little heat.

Ingredients

Soy sauce 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Brown sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Garlic 6 Clove (30 gm) , chopped
Pork butt roast 4 Pound , sliced (((3 to 4 pound)))
Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon

Directions

MAKING

In a medium bowl, mix together brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic. Set aside.

Heat the oil in a pressure cooker and sear roast on all sides until golden brown. Set aside in a plate.

Add back pork roast to the pressure cooker, pour in the soy mixture and cook on high for approximately 60 minutes.

Release naturally and pull pork apart with two folks.

 

SERVING

Serve over a tortilla or burger buns.

 

NOTES

For Slow Cooker Directions

Place pork butt roast and marinade into slow cooker. Cook on low for about six hours or until the meat begins to flake easily when pricked with a fork.
