Stuffed Plums

This is such a great recipe. So easy and so flavorful! This is a great appetizer to make if youre having people over or going over to someones house. Its a real show stopper!

Ingredients

Balsamic vinaigrette 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Light brown sugar 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Dried plums 20 (prunes)
Chevre cheese 2 Ounce
Fresh thyme 1 Teaspoon , chopped
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste
Prosciutto 1/8 Pound , thinly sliced

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Preheat the oven to 375 F.

MAKING

For balsamic reduction

2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, pour in balsamic vinegar and allow to heat for 20 minutes, or until it reduces by half.

3. Add the brown sugar and stir to mix together.

4. Allow the mixture to cook for 5 minutes more and turn off the heat.

5. Set it aside to cool and thicken.

For wrapped plums.

6. In a small bowl, place together goat cheese, thyme, salt, and pepper, and mix well.

7. Stuff the indent in the plums with cheese mixture.

8. Cut prosciutto slices, in half, and wrap stuffed plum with it and secure the prosciutto with a toothpick.

9. Wrap all the stuffed plums and place them baking sheet.

10. Bake them in the oven for about 5 minutes or until prosciutto is crispy.

SERVING

11. Remove from the oven and arrange the stuffed plums on a serving platter.

12. Drizzle the balsamic reduction all over wrapped plum and serve warm.
