Homemade flatbread recipe and how to make flatbread pizza! Use this recipe to make a quick flatbread to serve with dinner or turn flatbread into dinner by topping it with pesto, cheese and vegetables.
|Flour||1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 1/2 Teaspoon|
|Olive oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Milk||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Pesto/Pizza sauce||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Grated mozzarella/Provolone /cheddar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Toppings||1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (Your choice: diced tomato, corn kernels, onion, peppers, olives, anything)|
Preheat oven to 400°F.
In an electric mixer, combine flour, baking powder, salt and mix well. Add olive oil and mix well.
Make well in center and pour milk. Mix and knead for 3-5 minutes.
Divide into 4 pieces and roll out into desired shapes.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook flatbreads on both sides.
Place on baking tray and spread 2 tablespoons of pesto over it.
Top with cheese and desired toppings.
Pop into oven and bake for 20 minutes.
