How to make your kids eat their veggies - Hidden Veggie Cheese Pizza

Sneaking vegetables into your children's food is easier than you think and personally to me, it is fun as well. I call this pizza the best pizza because I make with lots of love and vegetables hidden inside pizza.

Ingredients

For sauce
Tomato 5
Bell pepper 1/2
Carrot 1
Onion 1/2
Garlic cloves 3
Basil leaves 10 , finely chopped
Salt and pepper 1 Teaspoon
Sugar To Taste
Paprika To Taste
For pizza dough
Flour 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Salt To Taste
Sugar To Taste
Olive oil 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Instant yeast 2 Teaspoon
Flax meal 2 Tablespoon
For topping
Grated white cheddar cheese 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Grated cauliflower 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Black pepper To Taste
Italian seasoning To Taste

Directions

GETTING READY

To make sauce

1. In a pressure cooker, boil all vegetables in enough water for 3 to 4 whistles until tender.

2. Remove the peels from tomatoes and bell peppers. Reserve the stock in a separate cup. Blend the veggies to a smooth consistency.

3. Add basisl leaves, paprika and sugar, mix well.

4. In a bowl, mix together the dry ingredients of the dough, add olive oil, mix again. Knead to a dough using the vegetables stock. Cover and allow to sit for 30 minutes.

5. Preheat oven to 400F.

 

MAKING

6. Stretch the dough to make a flat pizza, spread some sauce, sprinkle cheeze and cauliflower. Drizzle with some more sauce and season with pepper and italian seasoning.

7. Bake at 400F for about 20 minutes.

 

SERVING

8. Cut into edges and serve with your choice of beverage.
