Mini Maple Pecan Pies (Maple Pecan Tartlets) - Quick Holiday Dessert idea

My Indo-Canadian family absolutely loves these mini pecan pies (Maple Pecan Tarts). It is one of the best holiday desserts out there. It's simple, quick and easy - just perfect for the holidays or after your Christmas dinner.


Mini pie shell/Mini tart shell 12
Chopped pecans 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
For filling
Brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs) (tart shells are sweet, you can decrease the quantity)
Melted butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Eggs 2
Vanilla extract 2 Teaspoon
Cinnamon 1/2 Teaspoon
Maple syrup 3 Tablespoon



1. Preheat oven to 400 degree F.

2. Line a muffin pan with pie/tart shell and set aside.


3. Fill bottom of the tart shells evenly with chopped pecans.

For Filling:

4. In a bowl, whisk together sugar, butter, egg, vanilla, cinnamon, and maple syrup.

5. Pour mixture equally into the pie/tart shell.

6. Pop the pan in oven and bake for 15-18 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.


7. Serve and enjoy!
