Chocolate Pecan Pie Recipe: How to Make Chocolate Pecan Pie

This gorgeous chocolate pecan pie will be the perfect dessert to finish off any dinner with a flair. Lauren Chattman from Pillsbury shows how to make this extra special chocolate pecan pie.


Pie crust dough 1 Pound (1 sheet)
Corn syrup 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Melted butter 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
Eggs 3 Medium
Pecans 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Chocolate chips 200 Gram
For the garnish
Chocolate chips 2 Tablespoon , melted
Pecan 10 Medium , sliced lengthwise into half
Whipped cream 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (as required)



1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.

2. PIE CRUST: In a round baking dish or pie pan, place the pie crust sheet and roll the edges over to even out the edges. Using a fork, score the edge to create a pattern. Set aside.

For The Pecans For Garnish

3. Dip the pecan halves in the melted chocolate to cover half. Place it on a waxing paper lined baking sheet and keep in the refrigerator till used.


4. In a bowl add all the ingredients of the filling and mix well. Pour it into the pie crust and spread it evenly.

5. Bake in the preheated oven for around 60 minutes or till the edges turn golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

6. Put dollops of whipped cream on top of the cooled pie around the edges. Place the chocolate covered pecan on it with the chocolate side facing outwards.


7. In a serving plate, slice the chocolate pecan pie and serve as dessert.
