The Ultimate Pumpkin Pie

How to make the best pumpkin pie with the perfect pie crust from start to finish.

Ingredients

For the crust:
All purpose flour 2 1/2 Cup (40 tbs)
Granulated sugar 1 Tablespoon
Salt 2 Teaspoon
Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs) , cubed and chilled
Water 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) , divided into 1/2 and 1/4 cup
For the filling:
Pumpkin puree 2 Cup (32 tbs) (15 oz)
Evaporated milk 360 Gram
Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs) (plus extra for sprinkling, brown, white or a combination of the two is great)
Eggs 2 Large
Ground cinnamon 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Ground ginger 1/2 Teaspoon
Ground nutmeg 1/2 Teaspoon
Ground all spice 1/2 Teaspoon
Ground cloves 1/2 Teaspoon (optional if using all
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Vanilla 1 Teaspoon (not in the video but always nice to add!)
Egg 1 , mixed with 1 tsp of water for egg wash
To decorate:
Topping 2 Tablespoon (Pie crust leaves, Pumpkin seeds, Cranberries (dried or fresh))
