Homemade Key Lime Pie - Traditional

Classic key lime pie is a cinch to make and perfect for hot summer days or festive occasions! Everyone will love this traditional Key Lime Pie recipe.


For crust:
Graham cracker crumbs 1 1/3 Cup (21.33 tbs) (very fine)
Sugar 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Butter 6 Tablespoon , melted (3 ounces)
Vanilla extract 1/2 Teaspoon
For filling:
Grated key lime zest 2 Teaspoon (6
Key lime juice 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (12
Canned sweetened condensed milk 14 Ounce (1 can)
Egg yolks 4
Whipped cream 2 Tablespoon (for serving)



1.Preheat oven to 350F.


2.In a bowl, combine sugar, butter, vanilla, crumbs and mix well.

3.Press into pie pan as shown in the video. Pop into oven and bake for 12 minutes. Remove and set aside.

4.Reduce the oven temperature to 325F.

5.For filling, combine key lime zest, key lime juice, milk, egg yolks in a large bowl and whisk well.

6.Pour into crust and pop into oven.

7.Bake for 14 minutes or until set.

8.Allow to cool completely and refrigerate for 2-4 hours.

9.Slice and top with whipped cream (optional).


10.Serve and enjoy!
