How To Make A Spinach, Ricotta And Feta Pie

This flaky spinach, ricotta and feta pie is similar to the Greek dish, Spanakopita. The filling is creamy, flavorful- with a combination of nutmeg, ricotta and spinach. Hard to believe it's healthy! This pie is incredibly delicious and so easy to make!


Onion 1 Medium , peeled, finely chopped
Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm) , peeled, finely chopped
Fresh baby spinach 200 Gram
Ricotta cheese 200 Gram
Feta cheese 150 Gram
Egg 1
Nutmeg 1/2 Teaspoon
Chili flakes 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Puff pastry dough 1 (enough for a 9 inch pie)
Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon



Preheat oven to 350°F/ 180°C.



Heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic and onions until translucent.

Add spinach and cook until wilted. Once done, set aside to cool.

In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg and whisk until smooth.

Add feta cheese, nutmeg, chili flakes, salt and mix well.

Add spinach, onion mixture and mix well.

Line pie plate with puff pastry and cover the bottom completely.

Spread the prepared mixture over top and fold the edges.

Pop into oven and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
