South African Mango Atchar

In this snippet from Grilldog Presents Grilldog demonstrates his South African Mango Atchar Recipe for S.A.'s National Heritage Day.

Ingredients

Chili peppers 4 Medium , finely chopped
Tumeric 1/4 Teaspoon
Fenugreek seeds 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Mustard seed 1/2 Teaspoon
Asafoetida powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Sea salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Olive oil 4 Tablespoon
Mango 2 Cup (32 tbs) , chop

Directions

MAKING

1. In a bowl, add the chopped chili peppers, tumeric, fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, asafoetida powder, sea salt and 2 tablespoons olive oil and combine well.

2. Add the chopped raw mangoes and rest of the olive oil and mix well.

3. Set aside for 2 days.

SERVING

4. Serve as a side dish along with main course.
