Easy Recipe For Cranberry Relish With A Kick

This easy recipe for cranberry relish has become a favorite at my boyfriend's traditional family Thanksgiving get together. Ive been hounding his Aunt Meg for two years trying to track down the recipe. I knew it must be the perfect recipe for cranberry relish that could be made faster in a blender. She finally sent it to me, and Ive adapted it below with a vegan option - plus using unrefined sugar - and using a power blender (such as a Blendtec or Vitamix) however you can also use a food processor.


Whole cranberries 2 Cup (32 tbs) , washed
Onion 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Sour cream/Vegan sour cream such as tofutti 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Unrefined sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Horseradish 2 Tablespoon



In a blender, combine cranberries, onion, sour cream, sugar, horseradish and pulse until thick and creamy.

Transfer to a plastic container and freeze until usage.


Serve and enjoy!
