This cranberry-orange relish recipe uses black walnuts for a distinctive flavor.

Orange | 1 , seeds removed and 3/4 inch diced | |
Apple | 1 , cored and 3/4 inch diced | |
Black walnuts | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Sugar | 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) | |
Celery stalks | 2 | |
Jellied cranberry sauce | 1 Can (10 oz) |
MAKING
1. In a food processor, combine all the ingredients and process until well blended and finely diced. Do not over process.
2. Refrigerate the relish until you are ready to serve.

TIP
This relish can be made a day or two before and be kept in the refrigerator in a closed jar. It will deepen the flavor if you will let it stand for a day.
