Chayote And Peppers

Salad oil 2 Tablespoon
Onion 1 Small , minced
Chayote 2 Medium , peeled and cut into 1
Green pepper 1 Medium , cut into 1
Red pepper 1 Medium , cut into 1
Water 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Instant beef bouillon 1 Teaspoon
Basil 1/2 Teaspoon
Sugar 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Pepper 1/8 Teaspoon
Italian parsley 1 Tablespoon , minced (For Garnish)


1. In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, in hot salad oil, cook onion until tender, stirring occasionally.

2. Add chayote and green and red peppers; cook 5 minutes. Stir in water and remaining ingredients except parsley; over high heat, heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender. Sprinkle mixture with minced Italian parsley.
