I wanted to start doing some recipes that are on "The Lighter Side". My goal for these recipes are to be under 600 calories per serving, incorporate good proteins and good carbs (you know, the ones that actually give us great energy). Feel free to run these recipes through your own calorie counter as some ingredients may vary depending on availability and taste.

PLEASE DON'T BECOME OVERLY METICULOUS WITH PREPARING HEALTHY MEALS TO THE POINT WHERE IT BECOMES A BURDEN OR A CHORE. Think of it as having some variety in your life and a way to introduce new ingredients to yourself and your family. Enjoy!
