Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
Sifted flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Cold water 1 Cup (16 tbs)


This pastry is excellent for boiled fruit pudding and dumplings or for baked or boiled meat pies.

All the ingredients must be very cold.

Sift baking powder with flour, add salt, suet and water and mix into a smooth, firm dough.

Chill and roll out.
