Brown onions | 3 , sliced thinly | |
Chopped rosemary | 2 Tablespoon ((plus extra to garnish)) | |
Olive oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
Chicken stock | 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) | |
Water | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Canned diced tomatoes | 400 Gram ((1 can)) | |
Ricotta cheese | 100 Gram | |
Penne pasta | 500 Gram | |
Salt | To Taste | |
Pepper | To Taste |
GETTING READY:
Cook pasta according to package directions.
MAKING:
Heat a large saucepan with oil and add carrots, onions and rosemary to it.
Brown onions and add minced lamb and mix well. Cook for 6-10 minutes.
Add stock and bring to boil. Reduce the temperature and allow to simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Add tomatoes, water, salt, pepper and allow to simmer for 10 minutes or until sauce thickens.
Add ricotta and mix well.
Add pasta and stir well.
SERVING:
