Ham, Leek And Pea Pasta Bake

Resident Videojug Chef Joanna Kilvington is back in the kitchen and this week she shows you how to make a ham, leak and pea pasta bake, the perfect dinner for the whole family.


Bacon rashers 6
Leek 1 Large
Frozen peas 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Tagliatelle 14 Ounce
Butter 1 3/4 Ounce
Eggs 3
Cream 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste
Cheddar cheese 3 1/2 Ounce
Parmesan cheese 2 3/4 Ounce
Oil 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For Frying)




Preheat the oven to160°C.



Heat oil in a pan and sauté leeks and bacon in it.

Fry until bacon turns crispy and leeks turn soft. Once done, transfer to a plate lined with kitchen towel.

Half-cook pasta according to package directions. Once done, drain and allow to cool.

Add butter, egg, cream, cheese and mix well.

Season with salt, pepper and add bacon mixture and frozen peas. Mix well.

Transfer the contents to baking dish and pop into oven.

Bake at 160°C for 25-30 minutes.



Serve with salad and enjoy!
