Chocolate Banana Parfait

Sugar 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
Unsweetened cocoa 2 Tablespoon
Salt 1/8 Teaspoon
Milk 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Egg yolks 2 Large , lightly beaten
Cocoa flavored cream liqueur 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
Bananas 3 Medium
Chocolate cookie crumbs 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Frozen whipped topping with real cream 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , thawed



1) In a medium saucepan, add in sugar, cornstarch, cocoa and salt.

2) Slowly, add in the milk and egg yolks and blend well.

3) On a medium flame, cook the mixture till it comes to a boil. Turn down the flame and cook on simmer for about 30 seconds, while stirring continously.

4) Take the pan off the flame. Mix in cream liqueur and butter.

5) Transfer the chocolate pudding into the medium bowl. Press a plastic wrap onto the surface of the pudding.

6) Chill the pudding till it chills.

7) To assemble the parfait, peel the bananas fron their wide end. Slice it into 1-inch crosswise sections. Roll the banana sections on a plate of cookie crumbs till well coated.

8) Slice the remaining banana along with the others into long quarters. Cut the banana into 1/4-inch crosswise pieces.


9) Take 4 parfait glasses.

10) Alternate the chocolate pudding and banana-coated cookie crumbs into each of the glass.

11) Slice a banana into 4 and coat with the cookie crumbs. Arrange each slice on top of the parfait.
