IHOP Caramel Banana Pancakes

Ingredients

Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
Sugar 1 Tablespoon
Vegetable oil 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Egg 1 , beaten
Buttermilk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Banana 1
Banana pudding mix 14 Ounce ((1 packet))
Cooking spray 2 Dash
Caramel sauce 1 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Preheat the griddle to about 350 to 375 F.

2. Peel the banana, and slice thinly.

3. Break the egg in a small bowl, beat well and aside.

MAKING

4. In a saucepan, cook the banana pudding as per the packet instructions.

5. In a large bowl, put together flour, baking powder and soda, sugar, vegetable oil, egg, buttermilk and salt.

6. Using whisk, beat all the ingredients well together to make a smooth batter.

7. Spray the griddle with cooking spray, put a ladle of batter on hot griddle, and allow to cook until the edges are dry.

8. Flip the pancake and let the other side cook until light brown in colour.

9. Remove the pancake and stack it on a plate.

SERVING

10. On a serving plate, place the pancake, put about 2 tablespoons of pudding, arrange banana slices on it and place another pancake on top. Drizzle with caramel sauce and serve.
