Flax Ginger Pancake

Ingredients

Flaxseed meal 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
Ground cinnamon 1/2 Teaspoon
Protein powder 2 Teaspoon
Ginger powder 1 Teaspoon
Salt 1/8 Teaspoon
Eggs 3 Large
Syrup 1 Tablespoon (sugar free)
Butter 1 Tablespoon
For garnishing

Directions

MAKING

1. In a medium bowl mix the flax seed meal, baking powder, cinnamon, protein powder, ginger powder and salt together.

2. In a separate bowl whisk the eggs, syrup and melted butter together.

3. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients.

4. Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Grease with a little butter followed by 1/4 cup of the batter. Swirl pan to spread the batter. Cook for 1 minute. Then flip and cook another 30 seconds.

5. Remove to a plate and continue to make more until batter is used up.

SERVING

6. Drizzle sugar-free syrup over the pancakes and serve warm.
