Pecan Oatmeal Pancakes

Ingredients

Old fashioned oatmeal 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) , uncooked
All purpose flour
Coarsely chopped pecans 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Light brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
Milk 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Eggs 2
Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon , melted
Butter 1 Tablespoon (As Required)
Maple syrup 1 Tablespoon , warm (As Required)
Salad oil 1 Tablespoon (As Required)

Directions

MAKING

1 In a medium bowl, combine oatmeal, flour, pecans, brown sugar, baking powder and salt.

2 In a small bowl or 2-cup measuring cup, combine milk, eggs and butter.

3 Beat using a fork or a wire whisk until well combined.

4 Pour the egg mixture over the dry ingredients.

5 Stir well to combine.

6 Heat a griddle or a heavy skillet.

7 Lightly oil the griddle.

8 Spread about 1/4 cup batter for each pancake.

9 Cook until the bubbles form on the surface and the edges become dry.

10 Turn and cook for about 2 minutes longer.

SERVING

11 Serve at once with butter and warm maple syrup.
