Gingerbread Pancakes

Learn how to make apple gingerbread pancakes!

Ingredients

Molasses 2 Tablespoon
Melted butter 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Sugar 2 Tablespoon
Egg 1
Buttermilk/Yogurt thinned with milk or water 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Coarsely grated apples 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Flour 1 Deciliter (Allpurpose or whole wheat)
Baking soda 1/4 Teaspoon
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon
Ground ginger 1/2 Teaspoon
Cinnamon 1/4 Teaspoon
Allspice 1/8 Teaspoon

Directions

MAKING:

1.In a large bowl, combine molasses, butter, sugar and mix well.

2.Add egg, buttermilk and stir until well combined.

3.Add apple and mix well.

4.In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, allspice and mix well.

5.Add flour mixture to apple mixture and stir well.

6.Heat a griddle and lightly grease with butter.

7.Pour cup of batter and allow to spread into small circles as shown in the video.

8.Cook for 4 minutes (2 minutes per side) until done.

9.Serve and enjoy!
