Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs) , divided
Stout beer 750 Milliliter

Garlic salt To Taste
Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) ((For deep frying))

1.  Peel the onion and cut it into slices. Separate the rings and place them in a large bowl. Pour buttermilk over the onion rings.

2.  Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

3.  In a bowl, combine one cup of flour with stout beer. Whisk well.

4.  In another bowl, combine another cup of flour, salt and garlic pepper.

5.  In a large frying pan, pour the oil and heat it at 350 degrees.

6.  Remove the onion rings from the butter milk and dredge them in the flour mixture. Dip the flour coated onions in the beer mix to coat evenly and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with all the onion rings.

7.  Fry the onion rings in small batches without over crowding the frying pan. Fry until the onion rings are golden brown.
