Refrigerator Oatmeal is something you can set up at night so that it is ready and waiting for a quick breakfast the next morning.
Uncooked old fashioned oats | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Whole milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) (rice, soy or almond milk) | |
Plain greek yogurt | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Honey | 3 Tablespoon |
MAKING
In a bowl, stir together the oats, milk, yogurt and honey. Pour into small mason jars and stir in desired accompaniments.
Cover and refrigerate overnight or up to 3 days.
SERVING
Serve chilled – with banana, mashed or sliced, mashed or chopped berries, flax seeds, chia seeds, a teaspoon of peanut or almond butter, dried fruits, chopped, almonds, walnut, cashew or pumpkin or sunflower seeds.
