Chai Spiced Overnight Oats

An easy and healthy breakfast to start your day.

Ingredients

Rolled oats 2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
Fat free greek yogurt 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (plain fat
2 % milk 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (organic 2% milk)
Tea leaves 1 Teaspoon
Unsweetened shredded coconut 2 Tablespoon
Warm honey 1 Tablespoon
Banana 1 , chopped
Chopped walnuts 2 Tablespoon

Directions

MAKING

In a small microwave safe container, place milk and microwave on high for 1 minute until hot.

Place the loose-leaf chai tea in a steeper and submerge the steeper in the warm milk for 4 minutes.

In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and honey. Whisk until smooth. Whisk in the chai milk.

Add the oats and coconut and mix to combine all ingredients.

Spoon the mixture equally into two half-pint sized Mason Jars. Cover with a lid, and refrigerate overnight.

Next, morning, uncover and add cut up banana and 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts to each jar.

SERVING

Add more milk if desired and serve.
