Spinach Noodles

You would never have thought of this combination! But noodles tossed with spinach, cheese sauce and colourful vegetables results in an absolutely delightful treat.


Butter 1 Tablespoon
Finely chopped garlic 2 Teaspoon
Finely chopped spring onion 1 Cup (16 tbs) (whites and greens)
Sliced red capsicum 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Spinach puree 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Cheese spread 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Boiled noodles 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Salt and ground black pepper To Taste
Cornflour 2 Teaspoon , dissolved in 1 tbsp water



1. In a broad non-stick pan, heat butter, add garlic and sauté for a few seconds.

2. Add spring onion and capsicum. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes.

3. Add spinach puree, stir occasionally and cook for 1-2 minutes over medium flame.

4. Stir in milk and cheese spread. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes.

5. Pour corn flour-water mixture, stir constantly and cook for 1-2 minutes.

6. Add cooked noodles, mix lightly and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.


7. Serve hot.
