Noodles and Cabbage

Ingredients

Kosher salt 1 Tablespoon
Finely shredded cabbage 4 Cup (64 tbs)
Butter/Fat 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Sugar 1 Teaspoon
Pepper 1/4 Teaspoon
Cooked broad noodles 3 Cup (48 tbs) , drained

Directions

GETTING READY

1) Take a bowl and mix salt with cabbage in it. Let stand for about 30 minutes.

2) Squeeze out the liquid.

MAKING

3) Take a deep skillet and heat butter or fat in it.

4) Add sugar, cabbage and pepper.

5) Cook over low heat for about 45 minutes or until cabbage becomes brown, stirring constantly.

6) Add noodles and toss thoroughly.

SERVING

7) Place on a platter and serve with sauce, if desired.
