Creamed Spinach with Noodles

Ingredients

Spinach 1 Pound
Bacon slices 3
All purpose flour 3 Tablespoon
Milk 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Finely chopped onion 1 Tablespoon
Salt 3/4 Tablespoon
Cooked medium egg noodles 2 Cup (32 tbs) , well drained
Shredded cheddar cheese 4 Ounce (1 Cup)
Pepper To Taste

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Chop off the spinach stems and wash the leaves in lukewarm water.

2. Drain the excess water.

MAKING

3. Place the spinach in a Dutch oven and cook them for 5 minutes over high flame.

4. Drain excess water and chop the spinach. Keep it aside.

5. In a large skillet cook the bacons till they are crisp. Move the bacons from the skillet and store the drippings in a skillet.

6. In another platter crumble bacons.

7. Combine flour and pan drippings. Keep stirring to get a smooth mixture.

8. Cook the mixture on medium heat for a minute. Keep stirring.

9. Add milk and keep stirring to get a thick consistency to get a bubbly mixture.

10. Add chopped spinach, pepper, onion and salt. Keep it aside.

FINALIZING

11. In a serving platter arrange noodles and add the spinach mixture as a topping.

12. Sprinkle crumbled bacon and cheese.

SERVING

13. Serve Creamed Spinach With Noodles, sprinkled with crumbled bacon and cheese.
