This is a fantastic appetizer for a romantic dinner party!
Fresh mushrooms | 6 Large | |
Finely chopped green pepper | 4 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Finely chopped onion | 4 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
Bread cubes | 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) (day | |

Cayenne pepper | 1 Pinch |
Getting Ready
Pre-heat oven to 350°F (180ºC)
Making
Remove stems from mushrooms, set caps aside and finely chop the stems .
In a skillet, sauté stems, green pepper and onion in butter until tender.
Remove from the heat, and stir in the cayenne, bread, salt, and pepper.
Stuff mixture into mushroom caps.
Place on a baking tray and bake, uncovered for 15 minutes or until stuffing is lightly browned.
