Savoury Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe

This is a fantastic appetizer for a romantic dinner party!

Ingredients

Fresh mushrooms 6 Large
Finely chopped green pepper 4 1/2 Teaspoon
Finely chopped onion 4 1/2 Teaspoon
Butter 1 Tablespoon
Bread cubes 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) (day
Salt 1 Pinch
Pepper 1 Pinch
Cayenne pepper 1 Pinch

Directions

Getting Ready

Pre-heat oven to 350°F (180ºC)

Making

Remove stems from mushrooms, set caps aside and finely chop the stems .

In a skillet, sauté stems, green pepper and onion in butter until tender. 

Remove from the heat, and stir in the cayenne, bread, salt, and pepper.

Stuff mixture into mushroom caps. 

Place on a baking tray and bake, uncovered for 15 minutes or until stuffing is lightly browned. 

Serving

Serve as an appetizer
