Fig and Almond Muffins

These muffins have a nutty flavor and have all the goodness of the figs. These are rich in proteins and and very good sweet snack that is filling too.

Ingredients

Self raising flour 175 Gram
Butter 175 Gram
Caster sugar 100 Gram
Whey protein 75 Gram (Maximuscle Promax)
Ground almonds 175 Gram
Eggs 3 Medium
Dried figs 5 Medium , roughly chopped
Almonds 2 Tablespoon

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.

MAKING

2. In a blender or food processor blend flour, whey, sugar, butter, ground almonds and eggs till combined well. Put in the figs and almonds and fold them in gently just until combined.

3. Pour them into the muffin pan and bake for around 35 minutes or till the toothpick comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let it cool.

SERVING

4. Serve the muffins warm or cold with milk or teas or any other beverage or as it is.
