Special Peach Muffins

All purpose flour
Sugar 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
Baking soda 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Ground cinnamon 1/2 Teaspoon
Ground nutmeg 1/2 Teaspoon
Ground mace 1 Dash
Egg 1 , beaten
Vegetable oil 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Milk 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Peach yogurt 8 Ounce (1 Carton)
Dried peaches 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , finely chopped
All purpose flour
Brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
Chopped pecans 2 Tablespoon
Softened butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon



1. Preheat the oven to 400°


2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg and then make a well in center of mixture.

3. Mix the egg, oil, milk, yogurt, and dried peaches well and combine it with the dry ingredients while combined through. Pour the batter into greased muffin pans while keeping them half full

4. In a small mixing bowl, make sure that you combine 2 tablespoons flour, brown sugar, pecans, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

5. Mix the butter into the flour mixture with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal

6. Crumble 1 heaping teaspoon of the mixture on top of each muffin.

7. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden.


8. Serve warm
