Refined flour is unhealthy and is advisable for kids to avoid it as much as possible. However I have added nutrient rich oats, banana and walnuts to make these muffins healthier.

Mashed banana 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Chopped walnut 1 Tablespoon
Plain flour 4 Tablespoon
Baking powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Soft butter 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Powdered sugar 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Vanilla essence 1/4 Teaspoon
Quick cooking rolled oats 2 Tablespoon

1. Preheat oven to 180 degree C or 360 degree F.

2. In a bowl, sieve flour and baking powder. Set aside.

3. In a large bowl, cream sugar and butter until smooth and creamy.

4. Add mashed banana, vanilla, and walnuts. Mix well.

5. Add the flour mixture and oats. Mix until well combined.

6. Spoon batter into 6 individual paper muffin cups. Bake for 15 minutes or until a knife when inserted comes out clean.

7. Remove from oven and place on wire rack to cool.

8. Serve warm and enjoy!
