Avocado Mousse

On this episode of The Healthy Voyager's Global Kitchen, Carolyn uses all-natural and vegan-friendly ingredients to make a simple spring and summertime chocolate dessert that is healthy and light.

Ingredients

Avocado 1 , pitted and peeled
Cocoa powder 3 Tablespoon
Agave nectar 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Sea salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Vanilla extract 2 Teaspoon
Mint extract 1/2 Teaspoon
Water 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (add small amounts incrementally if more is necessary to blend)
Fresh strawberries 2 , washed and sliced
Fresh mint leaves 6

Directions

MAKING:

In a blender, combine avocado, cocoa powder, agave nectar, salt, vanilla extract, mint flavoring, water and blend until smooth and creamy.

Scoop in to serving bowls and garnish with strawberry slices and mint leaves.

SERVING:

Serve and enjoy!
