Betty's Colorful Mango Salsa

In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Colorful Mango Salsa. This is a relish that can be used as a side dish with almost any entree. It is tremendously flavorful!

Ingredients

Ripe mangoes 2 , peeled, pitted, and chopped
Red bell pepper 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , finely chopped
Red onion 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , finely chopped
Fresh cilantro 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , chopped
Jalapeno pepper 1 , seeded and fibers removed, finely chopped
Lime zest 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Lime juice 2 Tablespoon
Light brown sugar 1 Tablespoon , firmly packed
Ground sea salt To Taste
Ground white pepper To Taste

Directions

MAKING

1. In a medium-sized serving bowl, combine chopped mango, red bell pepper, red onion, cilantro, jalapeno, lime zest, lime juice, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir gently to combine.

2. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.

SERVING

3. Serve salsa with steak, grilled chicken, or broiled fish and enjoy!
