This easy recipe for crispy fish tacos is straight forward and very delicious.
Most people think tacos can only be made with meat -- beef, pork or chicken -- but tacos don't stop there. If you're looking for something different, fresh and new, think fish tacos.
Mahi mahi | 1 Pound , cut into byte sized pieces | |
Blackening seasoning | 1 Teaspoon | |
Red cabbage | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , shredded | |
Tortillas | 8 , warmed | |
Olive oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
Mango salsa: | ||
Mangoes | 2 , peeled, diced | |
Jalapeno | 1 , seeds and stems removed, finely diced | |
Fresh cilantro | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , chopped | |
Lime | 1 , juice |
MAKING
1. In a bowl, mix together all ingredients of the salsa.
2. Heat a pan, spread oil, cook the mahi until golden brown.
SERVING
3. On a warm tortilla, place some mahi pieces, top with cabbage and fresh mango salsa, serve.
