Betty's Husband Rick Makes Sonoran Hot Dogs -- 4th of July

In this video Betty's husband, Rick, makes Sonoran style hot dogs.

Ingredients

Hot dog 2 (all
Bacon slice 2
Bolillo rolls 2
Oil 1 Tablespoon (as needed to fry)
Refried beans 4 Tablespoon
Mayonnaise blend 3 Tablespoon (1/2 cup mayo + 2 tablespoons lemon juice + 1 tablespoon hot sauce)
Chopped onion 2 Tablespoon (as needed)
Chopped tomatoes 2 Tablespoon (as needed)
Pickled jalapeno peppers slices 1 Tablespoon (as needed)
Pickled cucumber 2 Tablespoon (as needed)
Shredded monterey jack cheese 2 Tablespoon

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Wrap each dog with a slice of bacon in a spiral .

SERVING

2. Place a skillet on medium-high flame and fry, rolling the dogs to get all sides of the bacon done.

3. Slice rolls down the top and rest them over the dogs in the last minute or two of frying time to warm them.

4. Apply refried beans and mayonnaise blend on each roll.

5. Place a dog on each followed by chopped onion, tomato, jalapeno pepper slices, cucumber slices, and Monterey Jack cheese.

SERVING

6. Serve and enjoy!

TIPS

For pickled cucumber check out this link - Betty’s Old fashioned Cucumber Slices- 4th of July I didn't use that following but you may use:

salsa verde

pico de gallo

guacamole

avocado slices

ketchup.
