Healthy Mexican Dinner

A perfect Sunday afternoon meal that is made with easily available canned and fresh foods. Add spices and vegetables to suit your palate in this beef casserole that is ready in no time.

Ingredients

Onion 1 Cup (16 tbs) , chopped finely
Extra lean ground beef 1 Pound
Olive oil 2 Teaspoon
Low sodium worcestershire sauce 1 Tablespoon (Leveled)
Canned low sodium tomato soup 10 1/2 Ounce (1 can)
Corn bread batter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Salt To Taste
Chili powder 1/2 Teaspoon

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Preheat the oven to 450 F.

MAKING

2. Brown onion and ground beef in olive oil.

3. Place in casserole.

4. Mix salt, chili powder and Worcestershire sauce.

5. Slowly add soup, water and sauce mix to meat.

6. Pour corn bread batter over this mixture.

7. Bake for 20 minutes at 450 F.

SERVING

8.Serve hot with a salad of your choice.
