Restaurant Style Salsa

What we have here is the restaurant salsa that lands on the table with nacho chips at those chain restaurants... and we love it!

Ingredients

Canned whole tomatoes with juice 796 Milliliter
Canned diced tomatoes and green chilies 540 Milliliter
Onion 1
Garlic clove 1
Jalapeno 1
Cilantro 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Sugar 1/4 Teaspoon (Optional)
Salt 1/4 Teaspoon (Optional)
Ground cumin 1/4 Teaspoon
Oregano 1/2 Teaspoon
Lime juiced 1/2

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Roughly chop the garlic, onion, and jalapeno.

MAKING

2. In food processor, put cilantro, jalapeno, onion, and garlic. Pulse just to break them up a little bit more.

3. Add whole tomatoes, diced tomatoes and green chilies, sugar, salt, cumin, oregano, and lime juice. Pulse to get desired consistency.

4. Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.

SERVING

5. Serve with chips and enjoy!
