Mixed beans and split peas/Soup bean mix 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Water/Vegetable stock 12 Cup (192 tbs)
Garlic 12 Clove (60 gm) , minced
Dried parsley 2 Tablespoon
Bay leaf 1
Salsa 2 Cup (32 tbs)



1.Rinse and check the beans for stones. Once cleared, take a soup kettle.

2.Add the beans and peas in the kettle, add water and garlic.

3.Let the soup boil, cover and reduce heat. Let it simmer for 2 1/2 hours till beans are tender

4. Once cooked, add the bay leaf and parsley and cook for another 10 minutes

5. Add Salsa. Adjust seasoning if required


6Serve hot
