No Time Taco Soup is a great easy recipe, that will leave you with a full pot of soup, in just about 20 minutes.
Ground beef 80% lean | 1 Pound | |
Onion | 1 Small , chopped finely (Optional) | |
Salt and pepper | To Taste | |
Taco seasoning | 1/8 Cup (2 tbs) | |
Canned corn kernels | 15 Ounce , undrained (1 can) | |
Canned kidney beans | 15 Ounce , undrained (1 can) | |
Canned tomato | 22 Ounce , diced (1 can) | |
Canned tomato sauce | 15 Ounce (1 can) | |
Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
For serving | ||
Cheddar cheese | 1 Tablespoon | |
Tortilla chips | 1 Tablespoon , crushed | |
Tabasco sauce | 1 Dash (Optional) |
MAKING
1. In a pot, put ground beef. Add chopped sweet onion. Season with salt and pepper and taco seasoning. Mix well and continue to sauté till the beef is browned completely.
2. Put in diced tomato, tomato sauce, corn and kidney beans. Pour water and mix well. Place it on medium heat and simmer for around 20 minutes. Turn off the heat.
SERVING
3. In a serving bowl, serve the taco soup garnished with cheddar cheese and tortilla chips and Tabasco sauce if desired.
