Guacamole Subs

Ingredients

Avocado 1 Small , peeled and mashed
Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
Mayonnaise 1 Tablespoon
Hot sauce 1/4 Teaspoon
Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm) , minced
Italian bread loaf 1 Pound (1 Number)
Cooked turkey slices 8 Ounce (1 Ounce Per Slice)
Tomato 1 Large , sliced
Chopped green onions with tops 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Sliced monterey jack cheese 8 Ounce (1 Package)
Ripe olives 12 , sliced

Directions

MAKING

1. In a bowl combine first 5 ingredients mix well and set aside.

2. Cut bread in half crosswise and slice each piece in half horizontally.

3. Lightly toast bread and spread with avocado mixture.

4. Top each piece with 2 slices each of turkey and tomato.

5. Sprinkle with onions and top each with 2 slices of cheese.

6. Broil placing sandwiches on a baking sheet just until cheese melts.

SERVING

7. Garnish with sliced olives and serve.
