When I shared the Hot Lunch Box Ideas, I showed few clips of what I give inside the thermos jar and many of you wanted to know the recipe of Black beans and brown rice. I cook this recipe two ways, one using red enchilada sauce if I have on hand or just season with salt and red chili powder. Since I personally think that Brown rice and Black beans has its own yummy flavor, I do not try to add too much spices in it but sometimes I add turmeric in it as well! You can then garnish with your choice of finely chopped veggies like onion, tomato, peppers and so on...
