How to make Duros a favorite Mexican snack.
I've seen these in several grocery stores and never knew what they were. I started looking into them and here's how you prepare this tasty snack. They are also known as duros de harina.
|Duro||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Seasoning||To Taste (Goya Adobo, or hot sauce and lime juice)|
In a frying pot, heat oil to 375F.
Deep fry duros until puffy.
Drain excess oil and transfer to a large container.
Season as desired.
Serve and enjoy!
