Betty's Soft Chicken Tacos

Betty demonstrates how to make Soft Chicken Tacos. In this recipe, softened corn tortillas are filled with a mixture of cooked chicken breast and a spicy tomato sauce. Topped with finely shredded Cheddar cheese, a salad blend, and traditional taco toppings, these tacos are mouth-watering!


Cooked chicken breast 1 Pound , shredded
Tomato sauce 8 Ounce
Taco seasoning 1 1/2 Tablespoon
Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Corn tortilla 8
Finely shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Greens 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (((spinach
Sour cream 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Sliced avocados 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Sliced pickled jalapeno peppers 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Sliced ripe olives 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Chopped tomatoes 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)



Place cooked chicken, tomato sauce, taco seasoning, and water in deep skillet. 

Simmer about 20 minutes, or until filling is thickened. 

Soften corn tortillas over a flame or in a skillet or oven. 

Place desired amount of taco filling on center line of each tortilla. 


Sprinkle cheese over top. 

Place spinach-kale mix, sour cream, avocados, jalapeno peppers, ripe olives, and tomatoes over top of taco.
