Betty demonstrates how to make Hearty Chili. This hearty chili uses the leftover Chili Hot Beans from a previous video in Betty's Kitchen.
Chili hot beans | 1 Pound , cooked (as needed) | |
Ground beef | 1 1/2 Pound | |
Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Green bell pepper | 1/2 , chopped | |
Red bell pepper | 1/2 | |
Tomato pasta | 3 Ounce | |
Water | 2 Cup (32 tbs) | |
For garnish | ||
Shredded cheddar cheese | 2 Tablespoon (as needed) |
MAKING
1. In a deep skillet over medium low flame, add ground beef and sprinkle salt. Stir gently and cook until browned.
2. Add green bell pepper and red bell pepper. Cook until softened and then drain off excess fat.
3. Transfer the mixture into the pot with cooked (leftover) chili hot beans. Stir well.
4. Add tomato paste, and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring after every 10 minutes.
SERVING
5. Garnish with shredded cheddar cheese and serve with saltine crackers on side.
