Cauliflower Au Gratin

Cauliflower Au Gratin is delicious and easy to make. You will be surprised at what a wonderful side dish this recipe will make. We are using fresh cauliflower for this recipe. Enjoy this classic french dish today.

Ingredients

Cauliflower head 1 , cut into large florets (3 pound)
Salt To Taste (for cooking cauliflower)
Butter 2 Tablespoon
Flour 2 Tablespoon
Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Cheese 8 Ounce , divided

Directions

GETTING READY:

Preheat oven at 350°F.

       

MAKING:                        

In a large pot, cook cauliflower in salted water until tender or for 5-6 minutes.

For cheese sauce, melt butter in saucepan.

Add flour and whisk well for 1-2 minutes.

Add milk slowly and stir well.

Add 4 ounces of cheese and stir until it melts.

Place cauliflower into casserole dish and pour cheese sauce over it.

Sprinkle remaining cheese and pop into oven.

Bake for 15 minutes.

 

SERVING:
