This slightly sweet and savory side dish is perfect to serve along side many vegetable or meat stews. Really simple it can be on the table in less than 5 minutes.
Water/Vegetable broth | 1 Cup (16 tbs) ((250 mL)) | |
Couscous | 2/3 Cup (10.67 tbs) ((170 mL)) | |
Ground cinnamon | 1/4 Teaspoon ((1 mL)) | |
Ground ginger | 1/4 Teaspoon ((1 mL)) | |
Golden raisins | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) ((50 mL)) |
MAKING
1. In a medium saucepan, bring water or broth, cinnamon, ginger, and raisins to boil over high heat.
2. Stir in couscous, cover and remove from heat. Let stand for 5 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed.
SERVING
3. Fluff with fork and serve hot with Moroccan beans stew.
