Philadelphia Cream Cheese Mediterranean Roll

Real Women of Philadelphia Cooking Challenge
Week-2 Side Dish


Philadelphia cream cheese 8 Ounce
Garlic cloves 2 , crushed
Zest of lemon 1
Juice of lemon 1
Tahini 2 Tablespoon
Salt and pepper To Taste
Cucumber 1 , unpeeled and diced small
Kalamata olives 8 , roughly chopped
Sesame oil 1/2 Teaspoon (Sesame chili oil) (Optional)
Rice paper wrappers 6 (as needed)



1) In the food processor, combine cream cheese, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, tahini, sat, and pepper. Process until well mixed.

2) On a sheet of plastic wrap, spread out the cream cheese mixture in an even layer.

3) Arrange a little of the cucumber and olives in the center of the cream cheese layer and top with a dash of the sesame chili oil.

4) Roll up the plastic wrap and freeze the roll for about 20 minutes.

5) Dip the rice paper sheets for about 2 minutes into luke warm water.

6) Unwrap the plastic wrap and place the cheese roll on the rice paper. Roll gently.


7) Cut the roll into ½ inch thick slices.


8) Arrange on serving platter and serve immediately.
