Falafel Burgers

Garbanzo beans 2 Cup (32 tbs) , cooked
Oil 2 Tablespoon
Onion 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , chopped
Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm) , crushed
Potatoes 2
Sesame butter 2 Tablespoon
Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
Dry milk 1 Tablespoon
Soy sauce 2 Teaspoon
Parsley 1 Tablespoon , chopped
Chili powder 1/2 Teaspoon



1) Into a frying pan, pour in the oil and saute the onion and garlic till soft

2) Using a fork, or into a blender, mash the garbanzo beans and potato till broken down

3) Add to it the sauteed garlic and onion

4) Tip in the sesame butter, lemon juice, dry milk, parsley, chili powder and soy sauce

5) Using the hands shape into round patties and place onto a greased cookie tray

6) Bake in a preheated oven for 10 minutes on both sides

7) Fill the falafels into pita bread filled with some lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers


8) Serve the falafel burgers into pita bread or burger buns with some sesame seed dressing drizzled over
