Whole fish 8 Pound (4 Small Sized, 2 Pound Each)
Butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Lemon juice 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Salt 4 Teaspoon
Fennel seed 2 Teaspoon



1) Wash and clean fish. With a sharp knife make three diagonal slashes on each side.


2) In a pan melt butter. Stir in lemon juice and 2 teaspoons of the salt.

3) Baste this mixture on the fish.

4) In a small bowl mix remaining salt and fennel seed.

5) Rub it on inside and outside of fish.

6) Keep fish in a basket grill and cook about 5 inches from coals for 30 minutes.

7) Turn and baste frequently with remaining butter mixture.


8) Serve hot.
